  don't get me wrong i am not slighting the incarceration of j. witnesses in the concentration camps but i recently read an article in the wacktower about the suffering endured in the concentration camps.. thanks were profusely given to jehovah and for the fortitude of the brothers and sisters during that terrible time but glaringly not one word of thanks,not one word in recognition of what the allies sacrificed and did was mentioned .no mention at all of any soldier ,sailor or airman laying down their life to rescue the inmates of those hell holes.. do the governing body really believe that no thanks are called for on behalf of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice ?

  how can anyone show respect for that crazy cult .do they really believe that jesus is going into battle on their side when they so disregard what others have done for them ?

  according to their twisted logic god is going to destroy those veterans who are now old who way back when came to the rescue..

  Why the excuse, "we are theocratic"?

  the wts claim to be theocratic when really they are a dictatorship .when ever did they consult the rank and file and why do so many followers accept blindly their pronouncements.maybe it's because of fear or perhaps just plain ignorance.why can't the g.body write to every jw and ask their opinions about forth coming changes to the washtower editions.they could ask individual members by means of a questionaire ; things like, how satisfied are you with the society?

  tick one box ",very satisfied", "not very satisfied"," who gives a monkeys".

  "always" or "almost always" or " are you peeing down my back or is it raining".another question; the statement millions now living will never die , only tick one box remember , "was true at the time", or" was never true" or "still true today" or " i believe whatever , do i look bothered".. last question ; because we are tax exempt and a charity case what is the the most humanitarian act do you think we have carried out?

  machiavellian a word that could have been invented for the borg leadership.

  i happened to come across the word machiavellian.heard it plenty of times but never really knew what it meant.it's an adjective and sums up the jw leadership like no other word.it means as follows ; .

  elaborately cunning ; scheming, unscrupulous,deceitful, shrewd, crafty,wily,foxy, tricky,perfidious,nefarious,treacherous,sneaky .. well i guess that just about covers it.unless anyone can come up with anymore.. .

  The Watchtower Consumer Report

  to all those who accept the watchtower doctrines and to those who are thinking of accepting their myriad falsehoods.. you will be told not to listen and look at criticisim of the watchtower society and definately do not engage in such activity because it is from demons,so they say.but what would you think if a product supplier, manufacturer etc.of any other commodity said that to you?

  you would think they were nuts and you would not accept that argument for one minute.yet millions of rational people go along with the watchtower line of reasoning, it's crazy.. most of what you read here on this forum is basically consumer reports on a crazy religious system which has massive fault lines running through it .buy into the witness beliefs, carry on with those beliefs and at some stage down the road you will come unstuck and it will all unravel in front of your eyes.remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions.learn from people who have been there, done that ,bought the books.one day it might be at your cost.

  to late say shudda,cudda, wudda,to quote judge judy.. your welfare is my concern,.

  when an active witness quits.

  why does the governing body not write a letter of thanks for all the hard work and effort that a witness has put in on behalf of the org?

  they could at least send them best wishes for the future and invite them to return soon and that they regret that after all this time they see fit to leave.. how about if they said "we will remember you in our prayers"..

  maybe two more mansions and where would he locate them ,?for which worthies this time ?

  hi freeedom fighters and free thinkers.. many moons ago when i was held captive i knocked on an old ladies door,she was hard of hearing.. i read the relevant passages to her from the bible ,told her that it is obvious we are living in the last.

  days [this was over forty years ago] and it was obvious she was confused ,i started to speak louder.

  and shouted" what do you think of all the trouble in the world?

  hi freedom fighters and peace be with you.suppose jesus held a press conference just before he asscended unto heaven .what would you ask him?.

  for instance ".will you be gone long"?

  or "could you describe the the shape of the wood"?, "does the name rutherford ring a bell or will that be qosimodo"?,.

  charity trustees

  hello everyone this is my first post ,not very practiced at this but i will give it my best shot.during the recent discussion about the jah jireh charity homes ,charity commission no.

  1062023 and cleveleys congregation c.c.

  no1062023 in the u.k. under the list of trustees i noticed a trustee is using the letters mbe after his name .my question is ,since when has it been acceptable for a jw to accept and hold a worldly honour and title, am i barking up the wrong tree and can anyone shed any light on the matter.
